Officers were inaugurated, yay! Mom came in an inaugurated us.
Today we talked about a new out of school volunteering opportunity! This opportunity is provided by the Seattle Public Library. What you'll be doing is you'll be working with kids from time to time during events they have. You'll be doing things like reading to kids or just playing around with them. There is no consistent date for which you will be volunteering, you will be contacted about a week beforehand and be given a notice. You don't have to go to every opportunity. It's very lenient meaning that if you're on vacation or something you wont be kicked out or penalized. You can pick up an application from Ms. A's room.
Blood Drive! The Blood Drive was a success! Thank you for everyone who helped out! In total we had 63 registered donors for the blood drive, we collected 48 pints of blood which means we saved 144 lives! Again thanks to everyone who helped make and put up posters, promote, advertise and table! You guys are great!
We now have an Instagram! Tag us @csihskeyclub
Icebreaker! This one was a fun one. Mom taught us this one. So we're in a circle and we have a leader that leads us in a random sequence of actions(clapping, jumping, twerking, snapping, etc) while everyone else follows along. Then we have someone who comes into the circle and tried to figure out who the leader is. It was tons of fun! Here's one of our Key Clubbers experience.
"While we were playing the sign game I happened to be the last person to guess who was making the signs. expecting it to be easy since everyone else but one figured out who was making the sign, i was confused and somewhat scared that i didnt know who was making it. as the game progressed "mommy" started to do a different sign from everyone else and that was when i knew something was off, but it wasn't until later that they told me they were messing around with me."
